I explain this page’s raison d’etre in my blog. Most people know about Theatre Alliance, but a lot of theatres don’t always post auditions there — so maybe you can find what you’re looking for here! Please read my disclaimers if you haven’t already done so. You have several ways to sort the data:

  • By first day of auditions (even if the displayed date is past, auditions still might be going on — check with the theatre)
  • By show (upcoming shows are displayed alphabetically — if you see something that you like, look for its audition dates to be announced!)
  • By opening date (shows are displayed in chronological order)
  • By theatre (theatres are dislayed alphabetically)

please note

I have compiled this information with no authority whatsoever. My only criteria were

  1. I could find them online,
  2. they looked like they were within an hour or so of me,
  3. they had a history of doing musicals, and
  4. they didn’t look like they were defunct.

To reiterate, only the first days of auditions and productions are listed. To find out more, you can check the theatre’s website by clicking its name. Also, because this life is fraught with legalities, I have to make a disclaimer that I’m not responsible for the accuracy of the information presented, so your best bet is to check with the theatre for anything that really interests you.
